Terms & Conditions

All terms & conditions contained on this website apply to all orders placed and use. This applies regardless of whether it has been read or verbally confirmed.

The use of this web site constitutes an agreement to abide by the terms and conditions below.

Making a Purchase

Purchases can be made via our online shop by adding your chosen items to the shopping cart and then proceeding to check out. You will then be asked to input details needed to complete the order.

We accept Credit/Debit Cards online using our secure online payment process.

Placing an order

Once we have received your order, you will receive a notification email. A purchase contract between Saugaat and you is only made once the item has been dispatched. Therefore, if your order is cancelled or it cannot be accepted, no purchase contract will have been made. Occasionally, we may not be able to accept an order for the following reasons:

  • If we do not currently hold stock of your item
  • If payment for the item has not been authorised
  • The product was priced or described in error
  • If the customer does not meet our terms and conditions
  • The personalisation of a product includes anything that is copyrighted (where permission has not been obtained), defamatory, liable to incite any racist or sexual hatred, discriminatory, is in breach of privacy or is offensive in any way.
  • We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time and issue a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery Issues

Orders will be made and shipped as soon as possible to you. This will generally be via our courier partners.

If you have issues with a delivery please contact us as soon as possible. If it is with a courier, we can generally try from our end to sort issues for you.

Damage in Transit

Any items damaged in transit must be recorded as ‘damaged’ on receipt if they are a signed-for delivery.

Once you sign for a parcel as ‘ok’ the courier will take no responsibility for damage they have caused: for this reason we recommend opening the parcel to check the contents before signing for the shipment. We understand this is not always convenient for a driver: but you are within your rights to do so.

You should retain the original packaging so we can see what happened – if we ask you to return the product to us, we will need the original packaging to be included.

Non-Personalised Products

Ready-made gift items and combos, which can be ordered on our website without any personalisation, can be returned in perfect condition for a refund or exchange. We will not refund the original shipping cost or your return shipping costs.

Such items will be replaced if they are defective. Some items will need to be returned to us before we can act, others will not need to be returned.


We do not offer a warranty on any of our products. Sometimes products can be returned to us; sometimes we will agree to replace them; other times we will not be prepared to offer either of those options.

Arranging a Return

Any goods that you want to return to us have to be shipped by you – we have no mechanism at all to arrange collections at remote locations. We dispatch via a local courier who feeds into various local and national delivery networks, so the courier who delivers your parcel is effectively random and is not necessarily a preferred courier to use for a return.

You should use suitable packaging that is at least as protective as the packaging you received the product in. If the item was damaged in transit to you, you should include the original packaging when you return it to us but it is your responsibility to use suitable sturdy new packaging to properly protect the parcel for your return and prevent further damage to the product.

If we receive a product back wrapped in only the original damaged packaging, we will not offer any refund or replacement.

We do not require any expedited service such as next-day, time slot or weekend delivery, and we will not refund unnecessary shipping costs. We will need a copy of the shipping invoice or receipt.
